The North Mississippi Baptist Bible Institute is a training institute that strives to educate those who feel the ministerial and/or pastoral call of God on their lives. We also serve to better educate Christians who would like to take classes for spiritual enrichment purposes.

We were founded 15 years ago by Dr. Ronnie Barefield and Bro. Kevin Merritt.  Since then we have strived to equip local pastors and preachers with essential tools to help them be effective and effecient in their preaching. We offer courses on how to build and prepare sermons. We believe that the expository preaching is an
